Drying is an operation in which heat is applied to the raw material to evaporate the moisture and extract the dry powder.
Our dryers can be classified into two types: direct heating type (heat is given to the raw material by directly contacting it with hot air) and indirect heating type (heat is given to the raw material indirectly by heating the casing or agitator rotor that is in contact with the raw material).
<Features of direct heating>
The drying speed is fast and the drying time is short.
Low product temperature can be maintained even if high temperature hot air is used.
<Features of indirect heating>
No contact between raw material and heat medium.
No contact between raw material and heat medium □ Longer drying time and low moisture content up to tens to hundreds of ppm
High thermal efficiency.
Less exhaust gas.
Low temperature drying is possible by vacuum drying.
